Danny Jones has addressed the possibility of being crowned King of the Jungle before he’s entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

The Voice coach is heading Down Under fresh off the back of a successful debut run on the ITV singing contest after his act Ava was crowned this year’s victor.

And the personable Boltonian also bagged the top spot when he made a disguised appearance on The Masked Singer earlier this year.

Jones’s chances of making it a hat-trick of ITV reality show wins isn’t an inconceivable prospect in the eyes of bookmakers either, with new data showing Jones as the early favourite.

Speaking about his odds before her set foot in the jungle, Jones tried to downplay his desire to bag a third TV title in 2024.

“I’ve had my fair share of winnings recently. The treble would be amazing – from The Masked Singer and The Voice to I’m A Celebrity,” he began to ITV.

“But for me, it’s all about going in there and just having a good time, enjoying it.

“I’m going into a very unknown, vulnerable space that I’ve never been in before and I don’t know what it’s going to be like.

“But I’ll do my very best. It’s not in my hands. I just want people to see me and get me and understand me.”

The viewing public being able to see Jones like never before is something those close to the singer think will only play in his favour.

He revealed: “I’ve had a couple of voice notes from people saying, ‘I can’t wait for people to fall in love with you’ or ‘I can’t wait for people to see that you’re genuine’ or whatever.

“It’s really nice to hear that. I’ve never heard that. It takes me going to the jungle for my friends to tell me how much they like me!”

While Jones may be downplaying his chances of emerging victorious and being handed the crown, bookmakers appear to have no problem branding him the frontrunner for the top spot.

The McFly and ITV The Voice judge has been priced as the outright favourite for the win with odds of 2/1.

This puts him ahead of the likes of closest competitors GK Barry (5/1), Alan Halsall (6/1), and Love Island’s Maura Higgins (7/1).

At the other end of the market, bookmakers aren’t giving much of a chance to the likes of Jane Moore and Melvin Odoom who’ve been priced at 50/1 and 25/1 respectively to emerge victorious.
